Words that ring true to those I live and would die by

I am sitting at my desk one day. This day is Saturday. It is roughly 9 or so. A girl that sits across from me makes the statement that it was hard to get out of bed that morning. Mind you I have been charging for 4 hours that day already. She makes the statement that the guy that sits next to me had probably been there since six. She also states this using a tone of disgust. Mind you also that I have decided that even though the gentleman next to me has probably 10 years more experience than me that he is basically an idiot. I make the statement that 6 am is bushleague. She then tells me that I am just an overachiever making the rest of them look bad. She also is working on her second kid by two different fathers. Good life plan you have worked out. I stopped for a second. Did I really just hear that? I say to her "If you are not overachieving then what is the point?" She laughed!! I am going to repeat that because I feel it bears repeating. SHE LAUGHED!! Rediculous. This brings me to my point. Every day you must ask yourself one question: Am I adequate or am I so much more??? That brings you to the question: What must I do to get to the next level? That is what breeds creativity and the leadership that this world needs to survive. I leave you with that.
