Artist Bio of the Week

Amos Lee will be wrapping up a tour in the US on the 21st with a show in Dallas. I hate to admit that I missed his show in Columbus because his personalized folk influenced style is addicting. Once just an opening act for artists such as Bob Dylan and Nora Jones, Lee is finding himself as the main act.

Lee, a native of Philly, as just come out with his second album, Supply and Demand, following his debut Amos Lee. His music has a blues feel to the lyrics, based on the toils of life, which are accompanied by the soothing touch of the acoustic guitar. Not too depressing to get you down, Lee's second album qualifies as a perfect Cd to wind down with at the end of the day.

Check out more of Amos Lee:

Best unknown Steakplace in Dallas, TX

Steakhouse of the Month: Dunston's Steakhouse & Bar off of Lovers Ln in Dallas. Important - you must sit in the back, that's where the crowd and the bar is located. Amazing steaks, at surprisingly low prices. Reminds me of a past favorite in Cincinnati that I may write about soon.
Endorsed by TamingZues. If your steak-appreciating friends - and I will tell you my boys know steak - and your steak-loving wife agree that its good, it must be. When a restaurant understands that the meat flavor should speak for itself...its money in your mouth. Gotta love 2 12oz sirloins medium cooked for under $50 total (with baked potato and salad bar). Luciousness for a New Years Eve.
