Once again the UK has sent us a great artist - Jose Gonzalez. Originally born in Sweden, Gonzalez's music is influenced by Latin music loved by his Argentinian - born father, UK pop rock, and refreshing indie artists. Gonzalez first found super star success in Scandinavia before moving to London and releasing his UK debut, EP Crosses, in 2005.Veneer, his US debut, portrays his acoustic, folk-like music with tracks that have a perfect balance of vocals and guitar, creating a relaxing CD. Gonzalez records in his home, alone with his guitar, which seems to be working out well
for him. With youth, only 27, good looks, and talent on his side, Gonzalez should be experiencing just the begininng of his music career.
